Recognizing Excellence in Non-Profits Delivering Social Services
The Donner Awards is Canada's largest and most prestigious awards program for non-profit organizations. A total of $70,000 is available to be won, with a total of eleven awards granted.
Non-Profit Performance Evaluation
Just for applying, non-profit organizations will automatically receive a Confidential Report that ranks their performance relative to their peers in the sector. Learn more about the unique, Donner Awards evaluation process.

March 2, 2009: Launch of the 12th annual Donner Canadian Foundation Awards for Excellence in the Delivery of Social Services. November 20, 2008: Eleven Canadian non-profit agencies named as best-run in country, earning Donner Awards and share of $70,000 prize money. A pair of social service agencies from Nova Scotia and Ontario shared a $20,000 prize after being recognized as the best in the country at the Donner Canadian Foundation Awards for Excellence in the Delivery of Social Services held Wednesday in Toronto.
