9th Annual Donner Awards

Finalists in the 9th annual Donner Awards were honoured at a special awards ceremony and luncheon on November 30, 2006 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel (Toronto, ON). Share in the excitement of the day by viewing photos from the event. On November 30th, 2006, more than 160 friends and supporters of the non-profit sector gathered at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel to celebrate the importance of the non-profit sector and the tremendous accomplishments of Donner Awards finalists.

	The 3rd annual Peter F. Drucker Award for Non-Profit Management was presented to Eunice Cameron, Principal and CEO of Cornall Alternative School in Regina, Saskatchewan.

2006 Award Recipients

2006 William H. Donner Award for Excellence in the Delivery of Social Services

Sudbury Action Centre for Youth in Sudbury, Ontario and InnerVisions Recovery Centre in Port Coquitlam, BC were jointly presented with the prestigious $20,000 William H. Donner Award for Excellence, which is awarded to the highest performer overall.

2006 Peter F. Drucker Award for Non-Profit Management

The Cornwall Alternative School was presented with the third annual Peter F. Drucker Award for Non-Profit Management. This $5,000 award is presented to a non-profit organization with a consistent record of excellence and innovation in management and service delivery.
